First, I would like to thank you for your interest. Living Art Reptiles™ is a small private breeding facility specializing in quality reptiles, snakes, and ball pythons. We have been providing excellent customer service since 1988 and are here to support you before and after your purchase.

 

We maintain a small, carefully curated collection, which allows us to focus on the highest standards of care and husbandry for our animals.We follow strict safety and quarantine protocols to maintain a healthy collection. We never misrepresent the lineage of any reptile to make a sale, and we do not mass-produce animals for profit.

 

All snakes are housed in a sterile environment. We use Virosan and Virkon-S as cleaning agents. Virosan is commonly used in veterinary offices, and Virkon-S is a broad-spectrum disinfectant. All incoming animals undergo a minimum six-month quarantine period and receive appropriate treatment.

 

We recommend testing your snakes for viruses. Our own snakes are tested for Arenavirus, Nidovirus, and Ophidian Paramyxovirus. We also use Prevent-A-Mite and Reptile Relief to keep our collection completely mite-free. Panacur and Flagyl are used only when necessary, which is rare since we work primarily with captive-born and bred ball pythons. We only introduce imports into our collection when they represent a new gene or an unrelated morph that has already been proven out in the market.

 

We also breed our own rodents using laboratory breeding stock. This ensures the highest quality and health for our snakes. Our rodents are fed Lab Diet (Formulab Diet), and we house them in Freedom Breeder racks.
